Sports Recap 3/4-3/8

This week there was a track meet at Gilmer at the Buckeye Relays. Both Varsity boys and girls broke school records for the mile relay with times of 3.21.67 and 4:05.96 respectively.  

Varsity boys won first place with a team score of 225 points. Varsity girls won first place with a team score of 182 points. Junior Varsity boys won first place with a team score of 253 points. 

Winning first place for varsity boys in high jump, pole vault, 3200 meter run, 400 meter dash 200 meter dash, and 1600 meter relay are Marcus Field, Jack Partlow, Landon Greb, Colter Maya (both 400 and 200), (next four in relay) Clint Thurman, Hayes Brooks, David Lindig, Colter Maya. 

Winning second place for varsity for boys in shot put, high jump, pole vault, triple jump, long jump, 800 meter run, 100 meter dash, 800 meter relay, 200 meter dash, and 1600 meter run are Christian Pettway, Chad Ward, Lukas Harbor, Marcus Field, Chad Ward, Dax Allen, Kaden Baze, (next four in relay) David Lindig, Clint Thurman, Nathan Bradford, Henrique Arantes, Kaden Baze, and Dax Allen.

Winning third place for junior varsity boys in shot put, long jump, 400 meter relay, 110 meter hurdles, 400 meter dash, and 300 meter hurdles are Andrew Ragland, Nathan Bradford, Clint Thurman, Marcus Field, Kaden Baze, Henrique Arantes, Chad Ward, Hayes Brooks, and Matthew Kenney. 

Winning first place for junior varsity in pole vault, long jump, 3200 meter run, 800 meter run, 110 meter hurdles, 100 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 300 meter hurdles, 200 meter dash, 1600 meter run, and 1600 meter relay are Reid Campbell, Jacob Pettway, David Kelley, Colton Dunn, Brodee Copeland, A’Million Johnson, Beck Petersen, Brodee Copeland, Layne Lewis, Colton Dunn, (next four on relay) Beck Petersen, Ethan Pettigrew, JB Ray, and Max Tidwell. 

Winning second place for junior varsity in shot put, high jump, 800 meter relay, 400 meter dash, 300 meter hurdles, 200 meter dash, and 1600 meter run are Trey Rozell, JB Ray, (next four in relay) Andre Foster, Nolan Harris, Layne Lewis, JB Ray, James Weaver, Max Tidwell, Nolan Harris, and David Kelley. 

Winning third place for junior varsity in 3200 meter run, 400 meter relay, 110 meter hurdles, and 300 meter hurdles are Zachary Sheppa, (next four in relay) Andre Foster, Nolan Harris, A’Million Johnson, JB Ray, Cole Shamburger, and Reed Carnathan. 

Winning first place for varsity girls in 800 meter run, 100 meter hurdles, 400 meter dash, 300 meter hurdles, 1600 meter run and 1600 meter relay are Abigail Kelley, Kennedy Miller, Reagan Cates, Kyndal Thurmon, Madison Devisscher, (next four in relay) Reagan Cates, Addyson Daughtry, Tori Cooper, and Kyndal Thurmon. 

Winning second place for varsity girls in discuss, pole vault, 3200 meter run, 800 meter run, 100 meter hurdles, 400 meter dash, 300 meter hurdles, and 200 meter dash are Serenity Fuller, Kortlen Pierce, Cadyn Haisten, Madison Devisscher, Kyndal Thurmon, Tori Cooper, Kennedy Miller, and Kaelyn Kincade. 

Winning third place for varsity girls in high jump, 3200 meter run, and 800 meter relay are Kayli Vickery, Bernadette Malmgren, (next four in relay) Addyson Daughtry, Brooke Gissell, Kaelyn Kincade, and Ahlyvia Luwizhi.
