About Us

The Eagle Eye is the award-winning student-run online newspaper for Lindale High School.  Staff members report on news events related to the high school and the local community.

Lindale High School is an award-winning school with a standard of excellence and is part of a district which emphasizes excellence.

The Eagle Eye has received a Silver Star rating for the Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC) for the past three years.

“Lindale ISD is known as one of the finest school districts in Texas,” Superintendent Stan Surratt said.  “Lindale ISD is rated as a Recognized District and every campus is rated recognized or exemplary.  E.J. Moss Intermediate recently received the Texas Honor Circle Campus Award. Lindale has a wonderful tradition of student success. Whether in the classroom, playing field or academic or fine arts competition, Lindale Eagles always excel.  Just last school year our students won the 5A state championship in UIL [for the second time]. ”
