Health Students Visit Christus Mother Frances Job Fair

Health students listen to health care provider about opportunities available for them. Students in all health care classes were able to attend the job fair.

Health classes visited the Christus Mother Frances job fair in the library today. They got a chance to see what different types of careers Christus has to offer.

“I think the job fair is a great opportunity for students to come down and meet with health care professionals,” teacher Sally Clemmons said. “It’s a great opportunity for them to get tips, connections, and careers they did not know about.”

At the job fair, students were able to talk to health care providers and ask questions regarding their job. Additionally, students were given information about jobs they can be employed in after graduation.

”I’m glad that Christus Health was able to come and show us the different aspects of the medical field,” junior Emma Dilley said, “It was very beneficial because they provided information of the various pathways I can take when I graduate.”
