Senior Felicity Thiem signed to play basketball at Jamestown Community College in New York. She will attend this upcoming fall.
“I am definitely a little nervous about going 18 hours away from home but also excited,” Thiem said. “I feel so blessed for this opportunity and want to thank all my teammates, coaches, and family for supporting me through the years.”
Thiem has played basketball since fifth grade. She plays as a post for the girls varsity basketball team.
“I think it’s amazing that Felicity gets to move to the next level, which is something she’s wanted to do,” varsity girls basketball coach Kyle Galloway said. “She’s always worked hard, and I’m sure she’s gonna go to New York and have a lot of fun while learning new things about life.”
