Choir students pose after advancing to state. This year state will take place in May.

Members of the choir program competed at the UIL Region 21 Vocal Solo/Ensemble Contest,  held Thursday at Whitehouse High School. Thirty-four singers auditioned for six different judges and 29 singers earned a superior rating and advanced to the state solo/ensemble auditions in May.

“It was a really great experience and I am really grateful to be able to compete at this competition,” freshman Audrey Ratcliff said. “I am very appreciative that the school let us do it and to my coach’s leadership.”
