LHS Principal Jeremy Chilek gave out his newly instituted L.E.A.D (Lindale Eagle Award of Distinction) honor to freshman Katie Robinson today for the month of October.
“Katie is an outstanding individual who exhibits all of the qualities we desire in our students at Lindale High School. Katie is selfless, dedicated, positive, and caring, focusing on what she can do to make others feel special.”
The L.E.A.D. honor is specifically given to students who stand out for their leadership, positive attitude, excellent character, and the values associated with being a Lindale Eagle.
“It was really shocking and exciting and general disbelief and happiness [to be chosen],” Robinson said. “I like Lindale because of the people. The people here are so nice and kind.”
