After last night, the Lindale Lady Eagles are adding Bi-District Champions to their list of accomplishments for the 2017 season. Lindale beat Temple in four sets with scores of 25-13, 25-17, 16-25, and 25-19. Leading the Lady Eagles at the net were Brina Kuslak (10 kills, 3 blocks), Shelbi Steen (10 kills, 10 digs), and London Reue (9 kills). Setters Harleigh Thurman and Kalaya Pierce spread the ball around well. Thurman had 25 assists, 6 digs, and 5 aces, while Pierce added 13 assists and 8 digs to night’s totals. Leading the defensive effort was Libero Alisha Kiser with 29 digs, and right along side her was defensive specialist Jennifer Moyer, adding 14 digs for the Lady Eagles.
The Lady Eagles will face Willis High School in the Area round of playoffs. Stay tuned for more updates on the date, time, and location.
