Lady Eagle Volleyball Starts the Season Off Strong

The Lindale Eagles Volleyball Teams played at home Friday night against Canton. Varsity came out on top in 3 sets with scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-22. Shelbi Steen came out strong with 12 kills, 1 block, and 4 digs. Middle Skylar Wyllie also had a solid performance with 9 kills, 3 blocks, and Brenley Philen had 5 kills and 5 blocks. Marleigh Thurman and Alondra Romero were solid defensively with 10 digs and 9 digs respectively. Kalaya Pierce ran the floor well with 19 assists and Preslie Walters also contributed with 10 assists.

The Lady Eagles will compete on Saturday at noon against Elysian Fields and 4:00 pm against Central Heights.

The Junior Varsity Lady Eagles lost in two sets 15-25, 13-25. Freshmen A lost 22-25 and 21-25. Maddie Little had 4 kills and 1 block. Fynlie Tidwell had 3 kills and 2 blocks. Freshmen B lost 10-25 and 16-25.
Sub-varsity teams play Saturday with JV 12:00 and 4:00 pm, 9A plays Central Heights at 2:00 pm and 9B will play Central Heights at 3:00 pm.
