Tennis Players Qualifiy for State

13 members of the Varsity Tennis team competed in the Regional Tournament for a chance at going to state. Lindale had more players qualify for this tournament than any other team in the Region. 

“While several of these player’s seasons came to an end, we also have 4 qualifying for state in 3 different divisions,” Head Coach Randal Namanny said. “I am so proud of these players. They fought for every point and represented Lindale so well.” 

State will be held next week in San Antonio, TX on May 16th and 17th at Annemarie Tennis Center. Doubles and Singles who qualified for state are listed below. 

Boys Singles: 

**Emilio Rodriguez 1st Place, Regional Champion and State Qualifier 

Girls Singles:

**Breanna Taylor 1st Place, Regional Champion and State Qualifier 

Zoe Bozick 4th place, Regional Semi Finalist 

Boys Double: 

**Hayden Harry and Kalvin Dryman 1st Place, Regional Champion and State Qualifiers

Ethan VanAndel and Amado Cardoso Regional Quarterfinalist 

Girls Doubles:

Fiona Turney and Nicole Hines 3rd place, Regional Semi Finalist 

Mixed Doubles:

Parker Hollingsworth and Madeline Chilek Regional Quarterfinalist 

Troy Rasco and Aaralyn Nilson Regional Qualifiers
