Lindale Track Makes it to Regionals

On Thursday, April 19th, the Lindale Track Team competed at the Area level. Seven students from Lindale will be advancing to the regional level this Thursday through Saturday.

“It’s great to see the hard work these athletes have put in sense January pay off,” Coach Robert Rozell said. “I am very proud of them.”

Regionals will happen April 27th and 28th in Humble.  Students will compete in discus, pole vault, shotput, the 100m run, the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, and the 400 meter run.

“We are so excited about the number of athletes we are taking to Humble for the regional meet,” Coach Buck Thompson said. “To get to this point in the season it takes natural talent but even more than that it takes a great deal of hard work and dedication and these athletes have put that hard work in for sure. We are ready to go represent lindale.”

Ryleigh Rand – 100m, 300m hurdles  15.75, 47.09
