On Friday night, the Lindale Lady Eagles defeated district opponent Nacogdoches with a score of 15-0. It was also Lindale’s Senior Night, and we had the privilege of honoring six seniors and their commitment to the program. Seniors were Sarah Day, Mackenzie Martin, Tyra Rodden, Summer Pruett, Lynsey McKinney, and Jaci VanZandt. Lindale came out strong and dominated the game from the very beginning. There were 11 hits total on the night, and even two in-the-park home runs from Dee Saunders and Hannah Knox. Hannah Knox was the winning pitcher for the game. She had 7 strikeouts with no runs or hits allowed.
Lindale will face A&M Consolidated in the Bi-District round of playoffs. Game one will be Thursday night at home beginning at 6:30. Game two, and three if necessary, will be at A&M Consolidated beginning at 5:30.
