Boys basketball coaches have been selected to coach in the 6th annual Hoops for Autism All-Star game held at the Union Grove High School on Saturday. Cedona Clark will be the head coach and Will Shawn will be the assistant coach.
“It’s always an honor and a privilege anytime you can do something in this magnitude to bring awareness to a sickness like autism,” Clark said, “This is a fulfilling moment to be able to lead not only the young men you work with on a daily basis, but young men across the east Texas area.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Autism Center in Dallas. The Lindale coaches will be coaching for the boys blue team.
“I love supporting any more student athletes outside of Lindale,” Shawn said. “Anytime I get a chance to coach kids from other schools is always great and especially this opportunity.”
