The district-wide art exhibit will be open to the public after the award ceremony in the PAC auditorium Thursday.

“This year marks the 8th year that the Advanced Art Students of Lindale High School have curated the district-wide art exhibit that showcases the artwork of students across our district,” art teacher Rebecca Harrison said. “This year we hope to have an even better turn out to support the young artists of our district.”

A total of 15 art pieces will be showcased and there are 135 expected student entries for the merit awards. The winners will be decided my teachers of each campus and will be awarded a plaque.

“I am very excited for the public to see the amazing artwork from amazing students and staff at Lindale ISD,” senior Ivy Brackeen said.
