Senior Bailee Breaux signed to Dallas Baptist University and senior tennis player Bailee Lane signed to the University of Mary Hardin Baylor this week. Both will begin competing next fall at their universities.
“I’m so excited to continue my cheer career at DBU,” Breaux said. “I love that I have the opportunity to meet new people and pursue the Lord while doing what I love.”
Breaux is a four year cheerleader at the high school and went to the state championship her sophomore year. She will be joining the cheer and stunt team at DBU.
Lane has played tennis all four years of high school and placed third at State this past fall. She is currently ranked first on the girls varsity ladder.
“I enjoy tennis because I love the competition it provides and I can always have fun when I step out on the court,” Lane said. “I am extremely excited to continue playing tennis at UMHB because I’m not ready to stop playing tennis competitively”
