Senior Nash Walters signed to play with Texas A&M’s division 1 baseball team Wednesday with team and family present.
“This is what I’ve always dreamed of,” Walters said. “I am so blessed to have such an opportunity.”
Walters will be the first of his family to be accepted to a team of such prestige.
“This is very surreal,” Walters’ dad, Robert Walters, said. “I never thought any of my children would ever sign at a major university like this. I can’t put it into words. It’s great.”
The Lindale team is looking forward to a strong season this year in hopes of making it to the playoffs.
