Yearbooks And Senior Ads On Sale

They yearbook students have begun selling senior ads and yearbooks. The books cost $70 and senior ads range from $50 to $325.

“Senior ads are custom-designed elements in the yearbook that are specific to the senior,” yearbook advisor and teacher Neda Morrow said. “We use their photos and design them a custom space with words of encouragement from family members.”

Senior ads can be an eighth of a page, a quarter of a page, half of a page or a whole page, and sales end Nov 21. To purchase one, talk to Morrow or any yearbook staff member in room 121.

Each year its costs $40,000 to print all the yearbooks ordered, and the cost of each yearbook doesn’t add up to this cost so that is why we have senior ads,” yearbook Editor-in-Chief Emma Grace Cox said. “Senior ads are a way for each senior to insure that they are in the book and that they remember the best parts of their senior year.”

Senior ad sales help reduce the cost of yearbooks for the students from the regular $81. Yearbooks are on sale until January by then they will cost 75$.

“I really enjoy being able to make the yearbook about memories,” junior Grace Barr said. “Everyone should get a yearbook because it is worth every penny of it.”
