Students Attend Field Trip to Dallas Museum

APUSH students watch a video cameo of different leaders defining freedom. This was a part of the permanent exhibit at the museum.

The Advanced Placement (AP) US History classes went to the Southern Baptist University George W. Bush Presidential Center on Wednesday. Students received an in depth review of President Bush’s time as president during their visit.

“Having the opportunity to visit the George W. Bush Library was a great experience,” junior Haylie Maccalous said. “I loved learning about one of our previous presidents and how he impacted America.”

Students Qualify for State in Congress

"Continuing the legacy and streak of our high-school band has to be one of the most exciting feelings," Edwards said. "The suspense building up to the moment where Lindale was announced champion had to be one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had despite knowing that our performance was incredible."
