On Friday, April 14, Red Baron donated $500 scholarships to students in the architecture program. Juniors Kaden Strickland, Chris Perez, Cash Russell, and Diego Garcia. all received scholarships.
“We are always impressed with the effort and professionalism of the LISD students,” Red Baron owner Jerry Alexander said. “Their efforts say a great deal about the exceptional educators at our Lindale schools. Red Baron is proud to award these scholarships.”
The scholarships were awarded after the class worked together to design a house. Strickland received his scholarship for best front elevation, Perez for best floor plan and best overall plan, Russell for best master suite, and Garcia for best kitchen.
“I was so surprised when Mr. Alexander presented us with these scholarships,” Strickland said. “I’m glad we are being awarded for our hard work.”
