Sports Recap Dec. 5-9

     Last Friday, varsity girls soccer had a scrimmage at home against Whitehouse. They tied the game 0-0.

     “This was our first game of the season and we played great,” junior Kady Spears said. “This is going to be a great year.”

      On Tuesday, the girls varsity basketball team played against Tyler Legacy and lost 22-40. On Friday, the team played against Mesquite and lost.

       “This group of girls is really special,” junior Landri Laing said. “We have room to improve, but these friendships and memories will last a lifetime.”

        The boys varsity basketball team played at home against Marshall last Tuesday and won 39-37.

       “I have a feeling this is going to be a great season for our team,” junior Chris Ahmet said. “We have great coaches and we all know how to work hard.”
