Recently, the Red Baron Building Company provided five awards of $500 each to students in the career and technology department.
“Red Baron enjoys supporting our community, and in particular, the students who will define the future of our community,” Red Baron Building Company President, Jerry Alexander said.
The winners of the cash prizes were: Best Floor Plan – Rigo Yanez, $500; Best Master Suite and Best Overall – Cole Falco, $1000 total; Best Kitchen – Nicholas Morales, $500; Best Front Elevation – Matthew Hooge, $500.
“It feels great to work with the students and see how they improve over the semester,” Alexander said. “Clearly the students have great teachers and a real desire to learn.”
Red Baron has supported the CTE program in the past by allowing students to tour home sites as they are being built, and in providing scholarships each year to students in the fields of architecture and engineering.
“We intend to continue the architectural scholarships and find other ways to support LISD,” Alexander said.
