Volleyball sweeps Nacogdoches

On Friday night, the Lindale Lady Eagles made a quick trip down to Nacogdoches and picked up another district win, upping their record to 6-1. The Freshmen team won in three sets with scores of 25-19, 24-26, and 25-17. The JV won in two sets with scores of 25-15 and 25-16.

Varsity won solidly in three with scores of 25-4, 25-8, and 25-8. Leading the Lady Eagles at the net were Lorin Reue (6 kills), Shelbi Steen (5 kills, 2 blocks, 6 aces), London Reue (5 kills, 1 block), and Brina Kuslak (4 kills, 1 block). Harleigh Thurman had 18 assists and 3 aces on the match. Libero Alisha Kiser had 13 digs total on the night.

The Lady Eagles hit the road again Tuesday night to take on Jacksonville and then will have their final home match of the 2017 season Friday night against Ennis
