Three students competed at the UIL State Championship this week in Austin. Cody Gustafson placed 2nd in Informative Speaking, Noah Clayton placed 5th in Computer Applications, and Bethany Thompson was in the top twelve in feature writing. The win by Gustafson also gave enough points to the speech team to put them over the top and be named as the 5A Speech Team State Champions.
