Lindale students attend school sanctioned dance

The 2015 Lindale prom was held April 18 with the theme “A Night to Remember.”

“Organizing prom was busy and hectic, but I liked it,” prom director Keri Pierce said. “I think prom was a huge success, although it would have been better if it hadn’t rained.”

This was the first year prom was held at Centaur Arabian Farms in Flint, Tex. The location was discovered by the Jennifer Deupree, vigilant mother of junior Bryce Deupree.

“I thought the venue was really nice,” senior Daniel Gerthe said. “I had a great time doing the sprinkler and pretty much dancing like an idiot.”

The dance was attended by upwards of 300 students and faculty members. Mason Wood and Shelby Monsivais were crowned prom king and queen by student vote.

“Prom was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my high school career,” junior Alec Ramsey said. “I had an amazing time being with my friends and girlfriend.”
