The National Honor Society is cooking pork and chicken tamales to raise funds for 7th grader Saul Espinoza and his family. Priced at $20 per dozen and $10 per half dozen, orders can be picked up on Friday after school or Saturday morning, with payment due at pick-up. To place an order, contact one of the NHS officers or Sally Clemmons via email at [email protected].

“We will be making tamales after school on Thursday and Friday in the culinary kitchen and all proceeds will go to Saul’s family,” National Honor Society Sponsor Sally Clemmons said. “We had a great time yesterday shopping for supplies at Walmart and a specialty store in Tyler – they should be delicious.”

Saul is a student at LJH who is battling stage four lymphoma.
