Art Students Have Success at Academic Rodeo

Art students submitted artwork to the Academic Rodeo Art Competition and several students placed. Academic Rodeo is an annual competition where students can compete in several events as a group and individually.

In 9th grade, Nick Green placed 2nd, Chyanne Wood-Ginn got a Special Recognition Award for Best Use of Color. In 10th grade, Landon Greb placed 1st, and Laila Lindsey got a Special Recognition Award for Most Original Concept. For 11th grade Casen Davis got both an Honorable Mention and a Special Recognition Award for Most Creative. In 12th, Julia Montgomery placed 1st as well as received a Special Recognition Award for Best Drawing.
