Adult students study in class. “I’m so glad to have an opportunity to help people and engage with them,” junior Lily Sims said.

The English Second Language (ESL) Department has an opportunity for students to gain community service hours. Students are needed for childcare and tutors for the children of the Adult ESL class.

“I love volunteering with kids and playing with them,” junior Madi Gasser said. “I think this type of community service is important as it genuinely makes people’s lives easier.”

Classes are held at the Lindale Jr. High on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. in Room 151. If students are interested, the signup link is
