Sophomore students rehearse in theater class.

Auditions for the play ‘Annie’ will begin at 3:30 on August 31. Students will meet in the Black Box and from there be moved into the PAC when it is time.

“I’m looking forward to finding my Annie,” theater director Kari Mckenzie said. “ ‘Annie’ has always been a musical I love, and I think I have a really strong cast of girls that would represent the roles well.”

There will be 35 or more students in the overall play, with 20 parts having speaking lines. Rehearsals will be every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

“I am most looking forward to singing,” senior Ashlynn Blankenship said. “Also just becoming the character I’m auditioning for, Mrs. Hannigan.”
