FFA To Host Annual Auction

FFA To Host Annual Auction

FFA will host their annual auction at Pickers Pavilion at 6 p.m. Friday. They will be previewing all items after school for the staff only.

“The auction is a great activity for the community,” FFA teacher Donald Werneke said. “It brings us all together and shows off what the kids have been working on this year.”

At the preview, the staff will get the opportunity to reserve in dollar amounts, any item that they’d like to bid for. They will also have the opportunity to reserve a bid if they’re unable to attend the auction.

“There are several things the kids put together this year that are going to be displayed,” Werneke said. “It’s nice to see how much the kids improved throughout the year.”

Food and drinks will be provided for anyone and the items available for purchase include baskets, plants, and over 30 metal wood projects for sale.

“I am proud of my project,” sophomore Nathan Estes said. “I think the auction will go well.”

The auction was made in order for students to sell their projects. They worked on their projects throughout the year.

“I hope people can go to the auction and see everything we made this year,” Estes said. “All of our hard work paid off this year.”
