The Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy is requesting donations for its upcoming SOAR community service project on April 7. Community members can fill out a form either on paper or online and send it in to sponsor Jennifer King.
“Last year we refurbished the flower beds and gazebo at the Lillie Russell Memorial Library, planted flower beds for 10 senior citizens in the Forest Trails Subdivision (next to Velma Penny), delivered snack sacks to Colonial Nursing Home residents, and provided frozen casseroles to neighbors in the Legends senior living community,” King said. “The money we raise will go toward projects in the Lindale community. Our projects this year will focus on fulfilling needs in our community, refurbishing parts of Pool Park, and elderly care.”
