Internship Class Continues Job Shadowing

Internship Class Continues Job Shadowing

During the second semester, the Business Management class will shadow local businesses Tuesday through Thursday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. They learn from successful businesses and see what it is like to run a business.

“This is a great opportunity for students to learn new skills, increase knowledge, and to engage in relevant experiences while exploring their career interests,” business management teacher Jennifer King said. “Our goal is for students to have more direction as they graduate from Lindale High School.”

There are seven students who are in the class. The class has seen over 20 businesses and plan on seeing more.

“This is a really exciting class that opens us up to ideas of what we want to be in the future, and we get to interact with people from the community,” senior Kenzie Wallace said.
