Volleyball Defeats Spring Hill

The Lindale Lady Eagles were back in action Tuesday night at home against Spring Hill. Varsity made quick work of their opponent winning 25-13 in each of their three sets. Shelbi Steen posted 12 kills, 3 aces, 2 digs, and a block. Skylar Wyllie had 9 kills, 2 digs, and 2 blocks. Alondra Romero served an impressive 9 aces and added 4 kills and 3 digs. Kalaya Pierce had 27 assists on the night. The Lady Eagles are 4-0 in district, and 17-0 overall. They will play at home against Kilgore Friday at 4:30 pm.

The Junior Varsity Lady Eagles also came out victorious beating Spring Hill in two sets 25-17 and 25-11. Reagan Cates led with 3 kills. Kayli Vickery recorded 2 kills and a block. Anna Ivy served 4 aces, and ran the court well from the setter position. JV will play Kilgore at 5:30 Friday at home.
Freshmen A Team won in three sets 24-26, 25-18, and 15-12. Landry Laing posted 7 kills. Dylan Adams had 6 kills, 2 blocks, and 12 assists. Fynlie Tidwell also added 4 kills and 2 blocks. Whitney Dao had 5 kills and 1 block in the win. Megan McGee and Olivia Gary each had 6 digs respectively. Freshmen A will play at 5:30 pm against Kilgore in Lindale’s Auxiliary┬áGym
The Freshmen B Team competed against John Tyler and won in two sets 25-12 and 25-16. Avery Adams served for 5 aces. Setter Allie Davenport had 6 assists, and Libero Macy Beeler was tough defensively with 4 digs.
