Volleyball Wins Against Chapel Hill

The Lindale Lady Eagles had a clean sweep over Chapel Hill in their district opener Tuesday night at home. Shelbi Steen led with 14 kills. Skylar Wyllie added 9 kills and a block. Alondra Romero also added 5 kills, 1 ace, a block and a dig. Setter Kalaya Pierce had a  solid showing with 28 assists, a dig, and an ace. The Lady Eagles improve their record to 13-0 overall and 1-0 in district play.

The Junior Varsity Lady Eagles came out strong with a 25-12, 25-17 win. Kayli Vickery was strong at the net with 6 kills and a block. Maddox Lay added 3 kills. Anna Ivy had 9 assists and 2 kills.
Freshman won 25-11 and 25-17. Ana-Russell Johnson had 3 aces and 2 digs. Fynlie Tidwell led the attack with 3 kills. Whitney Dao and Maddie Little also added 2 kills and 2 aces respectively. Setter Maddie Luster had 1 kill and 5 assists.
Lindale will be back in action Friday at home against Cumberland Academy. Varsity will play at 4:30 pm with JV and 9A matches at 6:00 pm.
