Volleyball Wins Against Carthage

Lindale Volleyball came out swinging Tuesday night at home against Carthage. Lindale’s Varsity won in three sets with scores 14-25, 14-25, and 15-25. Setter Kalaya Pierce ran the court well with 22 assists. She also had 5 digs, 3 blocks, 3 kills, and an ace. Shelbi Steen led with 9 kills and 3 digs. Skylar Wyllie had 8 kills, 2 blocks, 2 digs, and was impressive from the service line with 3 aces. Brenley Philen also had 6 kills on the night. Lindale improved their record to 11-0. They will face off at Troup Friday, September the 4th at 4:30. JV will follow at 6:00 pm.

Lindale’s Freshmen A Team was also victorious winning 11-25 and 16-25. Dylan Adams led with 4 kills, 2 aces, and 4 assists. Maddie Little added 4 kills and a block. Fynlie Tidwell also had 4 kills and Tatum Woodard added 3 kills, and 4 assists. Megan McGee was solid defensively with 3 digs and 1 ace. The Freshmen A Team is 4-3 in preseason action.
