Students Perform Well at Mineola FFA District

Brooklyn Gilleland was named the 2020-2021 Mineola District FFA Vice President Wednesday. Gilleland competed against 10 other students in our district to be on the district officer team. This coming year Brooklyn will be busy going to leadership camps where she will learn how to put on leadership workshops for this next year. Junior Jayden Gregory won the Mineola District Talent Contest for the second year in a row. Gregory competed against seven other talent teams in our district. Gregory will now be competing at our Area 6 FFA Convention against three other talent teams in our area to qualify for state on Monday, February 24 in Sulphur Springs. Last but not least, please help us in congratulating Tyler Thompson who served as the 2019-2020 Mineola District Sentinel. Thompson and his team put on a great convention yesterday, and we are proud of all of his hard work he put in this past year serving on the Mineola District officer team.
