Please join me in congratulating the choir students who competed in the All-Area Choir auditions held at Lufkin High School on Tuesday. I am very pleased to announce that Lindale placed six singers in this year’s All Area Choir along with having three alternates! Both numbers represent new records for the LISD choral program! Those earning a place in the All-Area choir are:

Mercedes Trasancos – the ONLY freshman in this year’s Area Choir!
These six singers each placed in the top 5 of their voice part. They will now represent LISD in the last round of All-State auditions in Waco in January.
Alternates include: Xander Dickerson, Jayden Gregory, and Norah Taylor.
