The Lindale Eagle football team won 12-3 against Mt. Pleasant friday at the Sam Parker Field. The game was delayed at halftime due to lightning, so the usual entertainment was not performed but the game continued through all four quarters.
“I’m really proud of our team, it was a good win,” Head Football Coach Chris Cochran said. “We showed toughness and discipline. It took all 3 phases of the game to beat a talented Mt. Pleasant team.”
