Chick-fil-A Lindale/North Tyler has awarded a total of $28,000 to 16 Remarkable Future Scholarship recipients. The owner of Chick-fil-A, Joshua Johnson, presented four Lindale students with the scholarship.
“Getting this scholarship means a lot to me,” senior Madison Farmer said. “I’m incredibly appreciative of Chick-fil-A for giving me this scholarship.”
Qualifications for receiving the scholarship were to be an efficient worker at Chick-fil-A Lindale/North Tyler and be enrolled in school. The reward was around $2500 for each student and included seniors Madison Farmer, Roland Duncan and Connor McClendon, as well as junior David Kelley.
“I am a shift supervisor at Chick-fil-A, so I feel like I am a pretty good worker,” McClendon said. “I am very grateful to have been one of the many recipients of the scholarship.”
