After try-outs, final twirler roles were announced on March 22. Sophomore Kylie Wilkinson was appointed as head twirler. This is her second year with the high school twirling team.
“What I love most about being a twirler is the endless possibilities,” sophomore Kylee Wilkinson said. “Every skill or trick has multiple different variations of tosses, catches or the overall style.”
Alongside Wilkinson will be juniors Elizabeth Bruwer and Kaydin Lottman, sophomore Abigail Hancock, freshmen Kate Caldwell, Marli Hawley, and Aubri Lemmert, and upcoming freshmen Addison Clark, Carmen Dees, and Hannah Jett.
“I like the memories we make and it helps with character development,” Bruwer said. “It keeps me busy and motivates me to do better.”
