The UIL Lone Star Cup standings have been updated, and Lindale is tied for 10th in conference 4A. The standings include all UIL sports and academics, as well as band and robotics.
“I am excited that we are ranked in the top 10 in Texas for the Lone Star Cup,” Principal Jeremy Chilek said. “It’s a true depiction of what the entire campus is able to do.”
The UIL Lone Star Cup honors the best overall athletic and academic programs in Texas. The winning schools in each classification will receive the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.
“We would love to continue to climb up that ladder to become better,” Chilek said. “But being in the top 10 is something we really strive for every year.”
