The CCMA classes took vitals of students last Friday. They will continue during lunches throughout the year.
“Thanks to the CCMA class, my classmates and I were able to participate in taking our peers’ vitals,” senior Elijah Watson said. “By receiving this experience, it helped give a better perspective over what truly happens in the medical field.”
Some of the vitals include blood pressure, pulse, oxygen levels, respiration, and temperature. CCMA students are required to get vitals of 20 students per six weeks.
“Due to the fact that the CCMA classes have to get over twenty students, we are able to achieve a higher level of understanding the differences between everyone’s vitals being unique,” Watson said. “Saying such, taking different types of vitals opens a whole new window of opportunity.”
