Thirteen members of the high school choir earned a spot in the TMEA Region 21 All Area Choir at auditions held 11/14 on the campus of Hallsville High School. They will now advance to the final round of the All-State process.

“I love choir because it’s a family and we all came together through music,” sophomore Zia Pitts said. “This competition really allowed me to grow and advance as a musician.”

Finalists include: Breezy Bishop, Hannah Crews, Riley Hill, Lila Landers, Helena Leos, Adrian Martinez, Eliana McGuire, Elijah McGuire, Zia Pitts, Elijah Sanchez, Aalivia Stroud, Cale Thomason, and Sara Wood.

“I’m very proud of the Lindale Choir program for all the hard work and after-school hours that they put in,” sophomore Eliana Mcguire said. “I would like to say that it’s not easy to get to this point and most people do not make it past pre-area. So the people that have made it, I’m very proud of.
