Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) members will meet on October 18 at the stadium to have student-led prayer. Lindale athletes will gather and share personal testimonies, and invite fellow students to worship.
“I really enjoy listening to each student share their personal experiences,” Coach Brent Ricks said. “I like how the different students are able to share their faith.”
Fields of Faith began in 2002, and since then has been implemented in schools across Texas. Students are encouraged to come and participate, as well as share individual thoughts and prayers.
“I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and listening to the student-led prayer,” sophomore Samantha McConathy said. “My favorite part of FCA is getting more connected to the community and friends through my faith.”
