Pink out shirts are now on sale, and the Pink Out game will be held on Oct. 13 against Chapel Hill. They are $15 and can be purchased from any Star Stepper.
“We sell the shirts every year. Breast cancer is often preventable when routine mammograms and self checks are done,” LHS Star Stepper Director Keri Pierce said. “We want to help in any way to bring awareness to the community and to raise money for this worthy cause.”
The proceeds made from the shirts will benefit breast cancer support at the Ross Breast Center. Those with questions can email [email protected].
“I am so excited to sell the pink out shirts,” sophomore and star stepper Samantha McConathy said. “I think it is a great way to bring awareness while also donating to the cause.”
