The LHS Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™ application is now open for juniors and seniors and is due September 11. Students will meet once a month during lunches and work as a team on three service projects.
“The world needs more leaders who impact their local communities,” sponsor Jennifer King said. “We believe LHS students are the answer.”
Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™ is a national high school leadership program sponsored by Chick-fil-A operators. At their meetings, students will be focused on making an impact through action in the community.
“I love seeing students give back,” King said. “It is exciting to see them form a plan to help in some way then see it through to the end and truly make a difference locally.”
