The Wings of Eagles challenge took0 place on Thursday at the MAC. The event is a field for high school students to partner with special needs kids from throughout the district.
“The Wings of Eagles Challenge is an event that students and staff look forward to each year,” event sponsor Casey Wynne said. “It allows our students to participate in field day events that are fun and inclusive.”
The challenge is a tradition where life skills students get to play games like volleyball, basketball, and obstacle courses. This event is also called the 4:13 Challenge which is based on the Bible verse of Philipians 4:13.
“I am super excited to help serve in this challenge,” senior Crew Goodson said. “It is a great opportunity to serve the Lindale Life Skills.”
