The Key Club went shopping for supplies to decorate ornaments for those at veterans hospitals. On Tuesday students met at Darden Harvest Park to make the ornaments.

“I am very excited for the opportunity we have to create heartfelt ornaments,” Key Club co-president Reei Morgan said. “I love supporting the community and the people in it.”

The ornament will be mailed to the VA hospital in Dallas after they are made by the students.

Creating something as simple as a Christmas ornament to give out brings a lot of happiness this time of year. I’m glad that I can help someone who served our country to have an extra wonderful Christmas.”
