Senior Will Hutchens has been nominated for the 2022 Whataburger Super Team. Currently, the public can vote for the best players, and the top 40 players are selected for the Super Team.
“I feel honored to be nominated. It’s a really cool thing just being able to be recognized for what I do,” Hutchens said. “Ultimately it shows a testament to everything that my friends and coaches have pushed me to.”
Hutchens is a two year team captain for the football team and is currently committed to Sam Houston State University. Off the football field Hutchens participates in varsity basketball, National Honors Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
“I feel like I was nominated because of my talent on the field,” Hutchens said. “But that’s a reflection of the people around me and how hard they push me to be a better player and a better person overall.”
