The NHS students made mums and garters to give out to the life skills students for Homecoming. It was a student-led idea that came about three years ago and they have carried on since.
“The officers team were thinking about Homecoming and they felt like it would be a really neat gesture for the life skills students to make them feel like a part of the school by making sure they had a mum,” NHS sponsor Mrs.Clemmons said. “If the students themselves made it it would be more special.”
