Name: Shelby Lowery

Grade: 9th

Extracurriculars: I am in band and I play the Contrabass clarinet

What I enjoy doing: I enjoy painting and shopping for new ideas of style.

What makes me unique: I am one of six bass clarinets in marching band, but in concert I play the Contrabass Clarinet(the biggest clarinet in the band).

Talents: I am good at band, and so far I have earned 4 medals in band, one award voted on by band directors, one plaque voted by the entire band, and I have a patch for going into All Region.  I made first chair Honors top band.  I am talented when it comes to clothing styles. I am also good at making my own personal recipe for a homemade grilled cheese.  

Future plans: I first plan on getting best style in the yearbook this year. My far away future is that I plan on becoming a dentist to help brighten people’s smiles every day.  

What’s on my TV: Mostly Family Guy show, M. Night Shyamalan horror movie collection and many others.

What I drive: I do not drive yet.

Favorite movies: Beauty and the Beast live action, anything by M. Night Shyamalan, Scream, the Conjuring, and Annabelle. 

Favorite music: Cody Fry, mixes symphonies with his singing. Favorite song of his is “Underground”

Favorite website or social media: Pinterest, you can save a cluster of your ideas and inspirations to give you insight on what you want or need.

Superstitions/Phobias: Trypophobia(fear of clusters of tiny holes),  Thalassophobia(fear of deep ocean), I do believe that there are other worldly beings in some far away universe.

Worst habit: I sometimes procrastinate even if it is something simple and I write notes on my hands too much.

I would love to trade places for a day with: A homeless person just to give them the joy of having a normal life for a day.

First job: I have not gotten a job yet, but I plan on working at a bank since I am good with numbers and dealing with money.

Favorite meal: I enjoy four cheese ravioli with olive oil, mushrooms, shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese on top, and a touch of sea salt.

Favorite drink: Coconut Bai from the good old convenience store

Talent I would most like to have: I would love to play the piano or the cello later in life.

Favorite celebrity: Adam Sandler

My hero: My hero would be Lopez Lomong, an Olympic runner that overcame challenges by escaping a prison camp and came to America and found his love for running. He believed God put him there for a reason so he went pro and uses his influential platform to spread word about Kenya and Sudan.

Hobbies or interests: I like cooking, decorating my room, and having style.
