Lindale Chamber Of Commerce Partners With Students

The high school business management class will partner with the Lindale Chamber of Commerce  to publicize student internships to other businesses. Intern students, chamber board and ambassadors, and local businesses met Monday to discuss the program.

“The Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesses in our community that works to support each other in our area,” business management teacher Jennifer King said. “They encourage businesses to partner with the students.”

Students will shadow local businesses three times a week. They will see how each company operates, different types of customers, and the products being sold.

“The students come out of this class shadowing anywhere from 15 to 20 different businesses,” King said. “This process helps students decide if they want to pursue a career in business.”
